Who Am I?
Hey, my name is Shri Vennu, and I'm a student at Central York High School. When I first took Apollo, it was because I liked what it (Apollo) was about, but also because I was curious about how the program ran, and wanted to try something different, something other than an online class, or your traditional class. Apollo is now a way for me to learn about myself, dig deep into topics I'm curious about, but at the same time I find out what I'm curious about, what I'm interested in. Apollo has helped learn how to manage my time and to communicate with others.

A couple of years from now, I want to go into the medical field, and help give back to the people in my community. Helping people is something that I’ve always loved to do, it’s an easy way to make someone smile, or even make their day. I hope, that through my projects, I will be able to figure out what specific medical field I want to go into. |
Teamwork and communication is a very important aspect of everyday life. When you re on a team, it's not just about you, it's about the team as a whole, it teaches you to trust each other (your teammates). They also help you to grow into a better person. |
My parents are from India, making me a first-generation Indian-American; I may not live in India, but that doesn't mean I am not allowed to be curious about India and her history. I want to learn what makes India the country she is. |
Photography is a way to capture the moment, the ones that you can't rewind and relive. They express many things (ex: emotion) without a single word, and different people can get different perspectives, all of this is possible from one picture. And that shows how unique every picture is. |
